Why can't I just buy an item at full price on mercari?!

I sell on mercari but right now I'm trying to buy something and there is literally no option to just buy it outright.. It forces me to make an offer. Did anyone else know this?? Is this only on the app? I haven't checked on my computer.. Knowing people have to place an offer to buy from me is kind of frustrating.

How to check for price adjustments?

I saw a post yesterday where someone mentioned checking for price adjustments. Is there a spot in your app where you can do that? Am I missing something? Because I noticed the price was lower on an item I purchase recently and I would like to request a price adjustment, but I didn't know if there was something that I should be looking for or if I have to do it manually?
