Was hoping to salvage the head off this motor. Not looking good. I think I already know the answer, just in denial at this point. Help me bros

Did the t belt a month ago, the tensioner indicator was set within the window. Seems like indicator has wandered past the window. Normal?

Pulling engine on a BRM. Just wondering what’s the best way to go about it. I don’t have a lift so out the bottom isn’t an option. Can I go out through the top if I take the hood off? Is out the front better? Pull engine + trans together, or pull the engine without trans?
