I have a Keystone Bullet travel trailer that normally stays on 50A hookups, but our next site is only 30A and we’ll be there for about a month using a 30A to 50A dogbone adapter.
Main things we’d run are a desktop computer, TV, small dehumidifier, lights, chargers, and normal day-to-day stuff. We have a Coleman Mach 15 15000BTU A/C. We have an additional A/C in our bunk room but never turn it on.
Mostly wondering if this is generally safe/reasonable for a month, or if long-term use on 30A might lead to voltage issues, etc. We do have a surge protector, but I’m pretty paranoid about electrical issues/fire risk with RV power.
Any tips from people who’ve run a 50A rig on 30A for a while?
