Going to the gym with scoliosis

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has advice on what exercises to avoid at the gym with an S shape curve. I used to be a competitive gymnast and get frustrated when told I can’t do those same exercises anymore. I see a lot of conflicting opinions online so it’s hard to know what’s right and what’s wrong. I have seen a surgeon, scoliosis physio and a normal physio and been told by the regular physio that I shouldn’t do anything above shoulders and should avoid heavy heavy lifting.
