Looking for opinions on upcoming renewal
Our Mortage will mature at the end of October 2026 and I’m wondering if I start shopping now or wait closer to the maturity date. Things are so squirrely in the world right now I don’t want to wait too long and pay more long term. I’m waiting to hear back from RBC who we are with to see what they offer and have a friend who is a broker to give us a competitive quote. Wife just went on maternity leave and is still on contract that expires in September but likely renews at the end of the contract. We were hoping to just get a good number from RBC to just so we can keep it simple and no extra paperwork and carry on with our lives. Obviously we would sign somewhere else if the numbers made sense. If you were in our shoes, would you sign something early or wait closer to maturity date.
