I think I’ve finally narrowed it down and may have found the provider I’m leaning toward.

At this point I’m not really looking for more names, I’m more trying to make sure I don’t miss anything before actually booking.

For those who’ve gone through adult circumcision or revision, what would you double-check before committing?

I’m thinking things like:

what to ask on the first call

what details matter during the consult

red flags in how they explain the procedure

aftercare and follow-up expectations

anything you wish you asked before choosing

I feel like online research can only take you so far, and the real test is probably the first conversation.

Curious what people would ask before making the final decision.

I’ve been researching adult circumcision and honestly kept running into the same issue — every search just brings up general urologists. No offense to them, but it’s hard to tell who actually specializes in this vs just offers it as one of many procedures. I started wondering if I’m just asking the wrong questions. So I tried using AI but being way more specific about what actually matters (like experience, reviews, adult cases, etc), and the results were completely different.

This is roughly what I used:

Find adult circumcision specialists in the U.S. who meet all of the following:

  • High-volume circumcision experience (thousands+)
  • Adult and revision focus
  • Strong 5-star review presence
  • Emphasis on cosmetic outcomes
  • Structured aftercare

Exclude general urologists with low circumcision volume.

It seemed to filter out a lot of the “general doctor” results.

I’m still early in the process, but curious — has anyone here found a reliable way to actually identify real specialists vs just providers who offer it?
