I have an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 5 600. Also 16GB RAM. I know not the best but thats enough for me. Also I cant afford better :)

I usually play Minecraft with shaders. So I was playing on my world when my FPS drastically drop to 12 or something. I was genuinely confused because this hasn't happened before. I thought maybe something was too heavy to load. Or maybe one of my mods was messing with me. So I reload my shaders and turn down my Render distance. It goes up to 30 FPS if I remember correctly. Which was strange because it felt like I was playing on 60 before. Tho I thought that maybe my shader pack was too much for my computer and I was always playing on 30 but never noticed. I go into my shader pack settings and turn it down a notch as to not overwhelm my computer. It goes back up to 60 and its fine for a while. But then it randomly drops down to 30 again. I mess with my render distance again since maybe thats the issue. But it doesnt work. I go and turn down my shaders again. And it goes to 60. It stays 60 for the rest of the gameplay untill I log off. I had to keep my render distance at 5! Which is crazy since I usually keep it at 10.

And now today. I was playing on a Minecraft server with a different pack of shaders. It lags weirdly again and the FPS drop. I decide to check my setting for my graphics card. I go and change some settings to make it run smoother. I also update it. I go back into Minecraft and its a bit better. But still odd. I turn down my shaderpacks since it might be too hard on my computer like the last time. And it works. My fps stays at 60 this time. Untill I go to the nether. When I was in the nether my FPS crashes again. It even freezes for a second. Its so odd. This has never happened before. I can usually play perfectly fine.

I might be delusional and ive always been playing on 30 fps. But it really doesn't feel like it at all. I probably would've noticed. And why would it stay at 60 and suddenly drop? Im not around a lot of mobs or anything else that might cause the drastic drop

I also wanna add that i checked my Task manger and at one point there was a huge spike on CPU usage. The memory usage also increased for no reason. Tho not as drastically. I cant check what it was but this is so frustrating. Ant help is appreciated

Also I might be overestimating my computer and it cant run Minecraft with shaders as well as i thought it would. But It can run any other game just fine with 0 lag.
