I just got my CSM offer yesterday in BA textile design, and my Parsons offer for Fashion Design a few months ago. I cant really decide between which uni I want to commit to. personally I think I enjoy fashion design over textile, but i dont want to limit my path in the future, so that's why I think a degree in textile design would be more versatile as it won't limit my creative path to a specific industry. I think what's so appealing about CSM is its reputation and ranking, and its emphasis on creativity and freedom. But at the same time i think I like New York more because it is so much more lively than when I visited London (but maybe that's because I visited during the winter, so it was very rainy and gloomy????). I've also heard that Parsons is dealing with bankruptcy (?) and some sort of liquidity issue, so they're cutting down courses, and a lot of professors are resigning so idk if that would impact students significantly. And as an international student, which university or city would give us more opportunities? Given that most luxury brands are European, would CSM offer better job opportunities?
