Helps with first Father’s Day (38 weeks today)

Hello!

I’m 38 weeks today and want to try and get Father’s Day prepped/planned because I imagine I’ll be tired and out of it later… I know my husband doesn’t expect much because we’ll be in the newborn trenches but it is his first FD and I don’t want it to go uncelebrated!

Any ideas for things that you think you could’ve pulled off in those first few weeks? His mom is also retired and would be happy to help out, along with my mom, so I do have a team I can tap in!

Anyone else do the same?

I get serious medical anxiety and researching things hasn’t been helping. The more I search the more I worry about. I think I’m just going to go in and tell them I want the epidural, delayed cord clamping if possible, and a healthy baby and let the doctors guide me from there. I’m not super focused on avoiding a C if they say I need it.

Is not researching breathing/stretches really going to bite me in the butt later? Any thoughts on things I absolutely do want to be prepared for?

Anyone else just kinda wing birth and have it go okay 😂
