Legend 2 might be one of the worst takes SC has done on ranked so far. 3 promotion spots, 30 attacks and defenses a week and you can’t change your base. It doesn’t matter if you are a good player, if you ended up here, it all hinges on if you get lucky or not on your defense. Little timmy on his dad’s ipad gifting you a +40 or Dr Mujtaba’s alt #999 attacking you will make or break your week.

The majority of good legend players in the old ranked system will be stuck here forever and lose the motivation to keep playing. Capping L1 at top 10000 players per week for the “real” legend experience is such an L take. It is way easier to stay in L1 than to promote from L2, speaking as someone with account in both leagues.
