My piercing is a little over a month old and I lost the front of my earring post that was the first jewelry I put in my ear directly after it was pierced so I had to emergency switch to a different one. These are hypoallergenic platinum plated with sterling silver posts, and I cleaned them well and cleaned my ear well before I put them in. But I’m worried that I still might get an infection or that they are too small of hoops (stars but same idea) and it will irritate my piercing. I don’t want to have to go back to the shop and pay an arm and a leg for another earring front if I don’t have to, advice?
