Persistent piercing bump

I’ve had my nose piercing for a year now. On April 9th I finally swapped it for a 14k gold ring and the first week it was perfectly fine. After a week it started to develop the bump and since then has continuously been growing and shrinking in size. A week ago it was at its worst and starting oozing pus after which I did a warm saline compress and it completely drained and bled a bit. Had a scab on it for a week, and today it finally came off during cleaning. Was healing pretty nicely but I feel like the bump is maybe starting to form more pus? I reallllyyy do not want to take the ring out but I know it will heal its best if I do. I just feel like it would be possible to completely heal it as I’ve seen the bump shrink significantly! I currently spray it twice a day with sterile saline and dab it dry very gently with a cotton pad. Also I am aware that the clasp opening is meant to be on the inside but f my nose, I just do not want it irritate it by shifting it.

Any improvements on my cleaning routine? Anyone else able to get rid of the bump while still keeping their ring?
