Is the only point of Chainscourged Mail to get perma Leap? Does it increase the Leap summoned Ancient damage?

I already have 90+% uptime on Leap via Call of the ancient Chosen one and the Apogeic aspect. I tested Chainscourged as a charm vs having Wyrdskin charm (x40% dmg) and I think I am doing more damage with Wyrdskin while still Leaping 90-95% of the time instead of 100%.

CotA and all my Shouts are constantly spammed and summon more ancients as well. I think this is where I get the slight damage increase. We are talking about 5-10%.
