I’m working on a small project aimed at helping athletes be seen a bit differently in the recruiting process, more context, less noise, and a clearer picture of the player overall.

Not really looking to pitch anything here, just trying to connect with a few coaches who might have insight or interest in the idea.

If this is something you’ve seen gaps in or would want to talk about, feel free to DM me.

Been thinking a lot about how recruiting film works right now, especially in volleyball and other sports.

It feels like everything is kind of scattered
– highlight clips in one place
– stats somewhere else
– social media showing personality but not context
– and not much that actually helps coaches understand how a player really plays

From what I’ve seen, a lot of athletes don’t miss opportunities because of ability, but because it’s hard for coaches to quickly get a clear picture of them.

I’ve been exploring a more “all-in-one” approach to recruiting film. Something that shows fundamentals, decision-making, consistency, and who the athlete is, not just the best clips.

Curious how others here see it
– Coaches: what actually helps you evaluate faster?
– Athletes/parents: what’s been confusing or frustrating in the process?

Would love to hear real thoughts.
