I know the Birthday Pikachu isn’t vintage it’s more a placeholder but I still love it. It’s actually the card that brought me back in last year after buying it on Amazon randomly. Now I’m trying to collect all of the cards I *think* I had as kid/wanted as a kid but could never obtain. I’d love to see y’all collection in the comments.
For me, it was in 4th grade and I had just traded my holo Dark Charizard for about 14 of my friend’s assorted holos (I don’t remember the exact number but it was a good amount). We were both happy with the trade. Hours later, his mom got us both a pack of Team Rocket at 7-11 and in the car I pulled a holo Dark Charizard! His face was priceless. That’s one of the fondest memories I have of Pokemon cards. What’s yours?
