Looking for system recommendations

Im looking to DM a dungeon focused campaign with the PCs delwing deeper and deeper into an ancient dungeon and am looking for a system that would be relatively light and easy to run while having a focus on items rather than the "leveling system" of something like dnd. The more natural/ integrated you can make increases in power the better.

I have ofcourse considered dnd but would have to change it quite a bit. Im also pretty familiar with the year zero engine and am wondering if forbidden lands for example might suit this.

Also im not looking for a setting, just the system/ rules.

What mod is the best when it comes to quality/ polish of the tracks/ other content. I know about CTGP, Retro Rewind and Deluxe but which of these have the best tracks? Right now im leaning towards deluxe for singleplayer as they have some really good custom tracks but the amount (700+) is honestly a bit overwhelming. CTGP definitely seems like the play for multiplayer but idk how good the tracks are overall due to its age. Are there any other well made mods I should check out?
