How to store 65+ years old film?

Hello Community, last weekend i've scanned 40 rolls (800ish pictures) of mostly Adox b/w film that we found in our late grandpas basement. Most of them where kept rolled up in some thin, already tearing paper or not even kept in a container at all. I feel that this 65+ year old film should be treated better considering it contains a limited insight into our family history.

I store my own negatives in pergamine sleeves in a binder. Do i unroll, cut and store these old negatives the same as mine, or keep them in their "shoebox"? Are there other more suitable methods? Most of the rolls are uncut 24ish frames.
