Why has itch.io not reindexed paid NSFW games yet?

About a year ago, Itch explained that the reason they deindexed nsfw games was because they were under pressure from the payment processors, specifically Stripe, and promised us that they were looking for alternate payment processors in order to reindex paid NSFW games. It’s been a year now and we haven’t heard from them since.
…Thing is that alternate payment processor already exists. It’s Paypal. If you have a link to a deindexed game, they removed Stripe as a payment option, but you can still pay with Paypal no problem.
So why exactly haven’t they reindexed these games yet? I get that a lot of people (me included) don’t like using Paypal, but surely it’s better to be able to pay for the game with a shitty processor rather than not be able to pay for it at all? What’s stopping them?
