I’m dealing with something that’s really been bothering me. My sister, who’s almost 50, is visiting, and she keeps picking on my 10-year-old. The other day, my kid was wearing a band t-shirt, and my sister made a big deal, saying, “Name a few songs” or “What’s your favorite album?” It felt really condescending, and I just don’t get why an adult would treat a kid like that. I’m trying to figure out how to set boundaries so this doesn’t happen again. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I called her out but it's not the first time, and it continues to happen.
