I am starting university in the fall and have wanted to get a MacBook Neo for school. I was initially going to wait until August to buy it and hopefully combine it with a back-to-school offer, but with all the rumours going around that Apple is running out of chips to produce the Neo I am wondering if it would be best to just buy mine now?

I’ve also seen that there’s a possibly of a 12GB RAM A19 Pro model releasing, but I’m worried that its release would be too late and/or more expensive than the current model.
