The flyaway bar doesn't rotate to the right side when I use medium/high airflow, I have to hold it using my hands, I am pretty sure it is not working properly. Am I doing something wrong or did I receive a defective attachment?

Just bought a new airwrap id from Sephora. The attachments came wrapped individually and inside a black cardboard box (second photo), but according to some unboxing videos that I saw, they shouldn't arrive this way. Also tried the flyaway attachment and the bar only turns to one side when the Airwrap is on. Did they sell me a used/returned product? thanks
