Is obesity just something you have to accept when dating?

I'm M32 and I'm pretty big into fitness and lifting. Been working out pretty regularly since college, and I like to go hiking on weekends.

I've just had the realization that all of the girls I've been on dates with recently have been big/obese. I'm not trying to come off as a royal jerk by saying that, because they have all been genuinely pretty girls, just bigger.

Not sure if this is because I've found all my dates on Hinge, Bumble, Facebook dating. Or if it has more to do with me living in South Carolina?

It's not really a looks or beauty thing, I just get nervous about getting to attached to someone long term because I'm worried about the health problems they may have later in life.

Curious if anyone else has experienced similar?

Is dating broken in the upstate?

I'm M32 and I feel like I made a mistake of waiting to find a serious relationship until after I got a serious career.

Now that I got an awesome job, I'm finding dating pretty dang challenging.

Now most of the people I interact with on a daily basis around here are already married.

I'm a big gym guy, lifting is my main after work hobby. But, I haven't gotten great responses from talking to girls at the gym.

All the dates I've been on since after college have been from dating apps, is that the main way people meet their partners around here?
