QC on glued hardbound book. Please.

Is this common on a glue hardbound book? The white areas in center that, to me, should be blue. I'm being told that it passes QC.

New Children's Financial Literacy Book

I wrote a children’s book about money because most “financial literacy for kids” material seems to choose between two bad options: snoozefest lesson or cartoon sugar rush.

I wanted the book to feel like an actual story first.

Clarence Gets a Bargain follows a kid who wants something, has to think it through, compare prices, understand sales, use coupons, and figure out the difference between wanting something and making a smart choice.

The hardest part was keeping the money lessons useful without letting them march through the story without sounding "preachy" or "teachy."

For people who read, write, illustrate, review, or buy children’s books: where’s the line between “this teaches something” and “this is now homework”?

Laptop vs. Cloud

Currently, I have an 2023 Omen gaming PC with a 3070ti and 8gb vram. Is it worth upgrading to a new laptop that is more capable of handling Comfy or just give up and use cloud Comfy on what I already have? I don't want to spend over $2500.
