On the 16th I bought some jeans of TikTok shop, which I’ve never had an issue with. The entire time the TikTok “estimated delivery” was 27th-30th of April. Yet when I checked USPS tracking it said it would likely arrive on the 19th at 9PM. On the 19th at 9:20 it said the same thing but my package status wasn’t delivered and the package wasn’t here. On the 21st it changed to “Moving Through Network, Arriving Late.” It has been like that ever since.

Two days ago after going through the agonizing process of figuring out what to do, I filed for an investigation as to where my package was. My post office calls and the nice lady said “Your package left Seattle (duh) and is in transit and were contacting them to ask about your package. But right now I’ll be marking the case as closed but I’ll be looking into it still.” I agreed reluctantly, the next day I called back because I hadn’t heard anything, I told them exactly what she had told me and exactly why my situation was. This (other) lady said “It looks like your package is moving to its next facility from Seattle. But we won’t know anything else till it gets scanned again.” Which annoyed me heavily seeing the obvious lack of action but I didn’t argue. I asked what she thinks I should do, which was to contact the seller. An automated response popped up apologizing for the inconvenience but said I couldn’t do much until May 6th (six days after THEIR estimated delivery date, contrary to USPS’s original estimated delivery date.) So yesterday I finally filed for a missing package investigation. All it’s said thus far is that they accepted my request and are looking for my package.

Pretty much nothing is making sense and every time I ask for help or an update on my package’s location nobody tells me anything I can’t already find out by looking at the tracking. I have no clue what to do or if I should even expect it to arrive yet. (P.S, USPS did say on the 28th that severe weather now included my state, but I just checked again and the severe weather alert isn’t there anymore)
