90 sec Jasmine/Basmati smells terrible?

The Earthly Grains Jasmine and Basmati pouches are normally one of my regular buys.

In the 9+ years I’ve been a customer with Aldi I’ve never had a problem with the pouches until just within the last month.

When I open them up, they emit this foul smell. It honestly smells like a really sulfuric fart. Cooking it only makes the smell worse. It doesn’t matter which Aldi I go to, all of them have the same few batches/lots, and they’re all absolutely rancid.

Is there a recall? I’ll file a complaint either way. This is just so confusing. I’ve never had an issue up to this point.

As title states: had a pair of older 1080s when I first started running, found out they were the v6 line. Have since retired them, but I LOVED how they felt on long runs. They were responsive enough for me, maybe a little heavy but that’s my only complaint.

I have the 1080v14s now and they are too mushy, too stacked, and I don’t feel stable enough, nor that I get enough return. Long runs (ran the boilermaker 15k last summer) and races just don’t feel good. I feel it in my right ankle and low back/IT band most. I definitely fought my second 5k with the duathlon I did last summer also.

I average about 10-15 miles per week right now and intend to up it to 20-25, and after a season off I’m slow, but I’m trying to get myself back to a 9 min mile/18-20min 5k. Tempo runs are BAD on the 1080v14s for me.

What shoe might be better for me, do you think? I don’t know that I want a nylon plate yet.
