Someone spent over $4500 in 12 transactions between 2 stores in Mississauga and Etobicoke from our joint chequing account. We didn't notice until my husbands card was declined at walmart for a $77 purchase. Zero heads up from Wealthsimple. Made my husband go through identity verification for 1 hour, then hung up on him. Then i called and they locked my card, great, then they locked us both out of the app. Now we cant access our remaining $200 because the relevant departments don't work at 5.30pm so we have to wait until tomorrow when they clock back on. Love that for us.
