does anyone have information about harchand rajputs??

They are mainly found in gurdaspur region of punjab.
I am also harchand and my father told me that we came from rajasthan during 18th century.

we get harchand surname from raja harishchandra.

In my childhood i used to wonder why there is a huge statue of MAHARANA PRATAP,memorial gate of maharana pratap at the entrance of our city(it is huge village type area and ass paas ke gaon ke logo wo hi pass shehr paarta hai like historical town) and also rajput colony,pratap marg and alo why in our city only there is less sikhs campared to neighbouring villages while we are in punjab then my father said we actually came from rajasthan but there is not muchh information about harchands like salaria and manhas rajputs

(they are sent to gurdaspur for battle against pathans)

Back when I was in 5th or 6th standard, my dad was a Havildar. I used to see kids of soldiers with much junior ranks than him bringing fancy stuff to school or splurging at the Canteen. I went to my mom and complained, "Mummy, Papa Havildar hain phir bhi humein 20-22k per month ka limited budget milta hai, baaki bache itne maze kyun kar rahe hain?"

My mom told this to my dad, and he looked me dead in the eye and said: "Beta, tumne movies mein nahi dekha? Imaandaar officers hamesha gareeb hi hote hain." 🤡🎬

Fast forward to now—Dad is a Subedar JCO. Recently, my mom had an argument with him because literally everyone (even junior ORs and Havildars) has a car now, and my dad was still hesitating.

His response? He pulled out a literal list of Jawans under him. He pointed out that almost every single one of them had loans ranging from ₹40Lakhs to ₹60 Lakhs (mostly personal and home loans).

He basically said: "Abhi in sabko khada karke (for having too much debt) bezzati karke aaya hoon. Agar ab maine loan liya toh mere seniors meri bezzati karenge!" 😭

yeh toh ho gyi story now my question "How are children of JCOs (Junior Commissioned Officers) perceived and treated during the SSB interview process?" because abhi vo ek post vi ayii hai sub pe
