Any one who applied in NYC has received any updates about their application. I have applied in December and yet no updates. I am really concerned. My lawyer told me that there has been some approvals, however, none of them is his cases so that’s making more worried.

Can you change J1 waiver state because of marriage. Let’s say you got a waiver and later got married and your partner is in another state . Can this be considered a hardship that allows change state of service.

Does HHS email or Mail lawyers to inform them about the receipt of application . The paralegal working with my lawyer has notified me it was emailed to them but I think members here mentioned their lawyers received mail as form of receipt. Also, can I ask to be forwarded this email for my records.
