Coming out this Friday! DREAMERS

Finally managed to finish editing it. Very excited to see what y’all think. It ended up being a 30 minute long video with lots of twists and turns. It’ll be coming out on YouTube on the 15th 5 PM Eastern Daylight time.

Hopefully it’s not too long, but while making it, I felt that multiple episodes aren’t needed. And just leave it as a stand alone thing.

if you haven’t caught it yet the trailer for the short film it’s on my profile.

A little thought about a lot of these analogue horror videos.

So by no means, am I some sort of authority on making anything in the analogue horror genre. And maybe my opinion will be an unpopular one. I’ve made a couple analogue horror projects and making a big one right now, and I like popping in here just to see what’s new and if there’s any sort of new styles or visuals that might inspire me.

But I keep encountering videos where it’s maybe one or two static images, some spooky background music, and a lot of reading. Maybe I’m outing myself as a person that doesn’t have a lot of patience or maybe I just don’t like reading
, but I feel like if you have to rely on so much text just to share your story I feel like it doesn’t make as good as it CAN be.

Analogue horror, apart from having interesting storylines, I think is famous for its unique visuals, and creative storytelling. I understand that a lot of these videos come from people working on analogue horror for the first time. And that text heavy narratives are probably just a product of not having a lot of experience in editing.

Tell me what you guys think! Have you noticed that a lot of videos are like this recently?

And obviously, I mean no disrespect. I’m just trying to make an observation.

Really excited about releasing it. Funny enough this isn’t the first time I’ve done an analogue horror project. But usually whatever I upload on YouTube is mostly just for me and some of my friends but it’s really cool that y’all have been showing interest in watching!

It’s probably the most complicated video I’ve made but it’s been really fun writing and putting it together. Almost done now. And I did want to ask. This project is just supposed to be a stand alone thing but a lot of these analogue horror projects are some kind of series or episodic in some way. Should I try the same? I’d definitely be more motivated to keep making more if I get a good response to this one!

Let me know what you think!
