I got a solid wood headboard/footboard off of facebook marketplace and inspected it in person before buying. I asked the lady if there was any exposure to smoke or bugs and she said not that she knew of (they got it from her husband's friend). I didn't see any evidence of bed bugs so I bought it.

On the way home, I felt a little itch on my arm and looked down and saw the tiniest of bugs crawling on my arm. It was so small that I couldn't identify any part of it after squishing it - just that it was honey colored and looked like it had a little black spot. Hours later, there's no evidence of a bite, but I don't know if baby bites have the same result as adult bites.

Even though I couldn't distinguish it, and it may have just been a random mite, I bought and used up two cans of bed bug spray, spraying the bejeezus out of every inch and crevice of the headboard and footboard. I also bagged up the moving blankets I used. Do y'all have any other advice for me before I bring it into my house? I'm trying to be overly cautious.
