I’m having a serious issue with my HP Victus laptop and I’d appreciate any help or insight.

The laptop was working fine before I did a thermal paste replacement. After reassembling it, it no longer powers on at all.

Current symptoms:

•	No charging light when plugged in (with or without battery)

•	Laptop does not turn on at all (no fan spin, no display, no signs of life)

•	Power button does nothing

•	I tried both battery and AC adapter separately → same result

•	The only unusual behavior: the WiFi card gets slightly warm when the charger is plugged in or when I reconnected the battery cable

•	No other components (CPU/GPU, etc.) show any noticeable heat

Does anyone have any idea what to do? I’ve been struggling with this for exactly seven hours.
