What are we and what's my move?
I am emotionally attracted to women, but sexually attracted to men. I just met a very attractive man who mirrors that sentiment. I told him I'm attracted to women, but not gay and he said that he feels similarly. We're trying to go on dates with each other, but not super seriously. He's aloof, but will reach out with flirtation and interest, and is very complimentary, but will also disappear regularly. Me, I'm attracted to a couple girls at work, but I'm not interested in sexual relationships with them. I get the feeling that both this guy and I are embarking on a lavender relationship, but one that's very modern, but we're clueless in that we are both 55 and escaping from religious backgrounds. We're admittedly jealous of the modern kids and their fluidity, but I don't think we're gay. I think he's sexy. So what are we? What's my move? I like him, but probably in the same way he likes me. Are we just using each other to feel normal?
