I need help choosing between GHD Platinum+ and Steampod 4.

My hair type:

•	fine, slightly wavy

•	very frizzy / puffy (especially at the roots)

•	baby hairs + static

•	very sensitive to humidity

My goal:

✨ sleek, smooth “clean” hair

✨ no puff / smooth roots

✨ long-lasting results (I’ll use it max 2x/week)

✨ I also like soft bouncy curls / waves sometimes

I’m confused because I see mixed opinions:

•	some say GHD is better for styling and curls

•	others say Steampod is unbeatable for frizz and humidity control

What would you recommend for my hair type and goals?

I live in a super humid place and my hair (slightly wavy) gets puffy FAST and loses shape right after styling. My roots are the worst — only a straightener makes them look sleek, otherwise they puff up immediately.

I have the Shark FlexStyle and a Remington straightener but honestly… I’m not impressed. My hair still ends up puffy.

I just want smooth, sleek, “salon blowout” hair that actually lasts all day with minimal effort. I work out 4x/week so I need something quick and efficient.

I don’t care about the price — I just want something that works: tools or ONE good product (not 10 pls 😭).
