I upgraded to an S26 Ultra from Pixel 10. I heard that Samsung added an AI call screen feature so I turned it on. I get tons of spam calls so I quickly got to watch a call screen take place.
I get the same spam call every day. Every single time, Samsung call screen asks what it's calling about and then listen to the robo-recording of "Hello, I'm [FakeName]. Your personal loan is almost approved!" at which point call screen goes, "Okay! I'll let them know you're calling!" Then my phone starts ringing and the caller appears as "Spam Risk" due to some other long-forgotten feature that the AI apparently has no access to.
This might be the worst AI feature I've ever used. It is so dumb I may as well not have it on. I'm not sure if it's ever declined a call, but if it did it's definitely letting through 9/10.
