United States Army Realism Unit and Community

Operation Times: 1900 EST on Fridays

The 28th Combined Arms Division primarily partakes in United States Army style operations, with emphasis on the Infantry side of MILSIM. We offer supporting assets varying from JTACs to Pilots, and many in-between. There is an option for everyone. Our mission statement is to provide a positive experience for all, regardless of skill or experience. We are primarily an Arma III Unit but we have grown to become a community of close knit friends and colleagues who share the commonality of Arma III MILSIM.

Available MOS':

  • 11B Infantryman.

After two operations with us as 11B Infantryman, members can choose to specialize into the support companies, or stay in the infantry. The following MOS' open to members after the two operation period:

  • 12B, Combat Engineer.
  • 68W, Combat Medic.
  • 153A, Rotary Wing Aviator.
  • 15T, Crew Chief.
  • 1Z3X1, Joint Terminal Attack Controller.
  • 35F, Dedicated Zeus Curator.

(Note that with Current personnel numbers new recruits are required to start as 11B, inquire with a Recruiter for the most up-to-date MOS availability.)

Features of Note:

  • Hatchet H-60 Blackhawk and KAT Medical in addition to ACE Medical, both for a more immersive and challenging aviation and medical experience.
  • We focus on realism and having fun. We simulate what makes sense. If it doesn't make sense to simulate, we don't. Our community is based around having fun, and performing when it matters.
  • Personnel Command System. We utilize PERSCOM to give our members a resume to build with our unit. Displaying awards, qualifications, operations and trainings attended, and your Progression Arsenal progress.
  • Guaranteed billeting with your friends. If you join with, or have friends in our unit, we will make sure you are billeted with them in a combat unit. All you have to do is request it on join, or let your line leader know.
  • Real life obligations. We understand life comes at you fast, and we are always open to supporting our members in their real life endeavors. We have requirements as a unit, but we always find a solution to make your real life and presence in our unit possible, without forcing you to restart if you are unable to play for IRL, military, or school obligations.

Requirements:

  • Working microphone and ability to communicate clearly.
  • Speak and understand English. Accommodations are and can be made for members to use text only chat. Be aware that leadership progression does require vocal communication.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Be able to commit to 50% attendance, or Two operations a month. Reserves are available at a requirement of one operations a month.
  • Legal copy of Arma III.
  • No DLC required.
