Hey guys, posting again because I’m still confused, but this time specifically about body sunscreen..

I purchased Re’equil matte sunscreen for face.

Now for body sunscreen🧴

I’ve been researching and keep seeing these two everywhere:

- SunScoop

- WishCare

And this is what’s confusing me:

👉 BOTH have so many good reviews

👉 AND at the same time so many bad reviews

Like:

some people say “best sunscreen ever”

others say “did nothing / not worth it / weird feel”

FOR BOTH brands 😭

—————————————————————————————————

Skin Type: Normal (not dry, not oily)

Weather: Kerala (HOT + HUMID 💀)

So sweating is unavoidable

My requirement:

- non-sticky, non-oily (I HATE greasy feel)

- lightweight enough for humid weather

- affordable (student budget)

- bonus if it also moisturizes (2-in-1 would be perfect)

Also, I’m not opting for heavier sunscreens, that’s why I excluded options like Nivea etc. I’ve heard they can feel a bit heavy/sticky especially in humid weather (correct me if I’m wrong).

So my main question is:

👉 SunScoop vs WishCare – which one should I actually choose?

👉 And why are reviews for both so mixed?

—————————————————————————————————

Also:

If you’ve used either of these in humid weather, please share your experience.

Trying to pick ONE and stick to it instead of wasting money experimenting 🥲

Thanks : )

Hey guys, I’m super new to skincare and just starting out. Planning to begin with sunscreen but I’m kinda confused af 😭

(I’m super new to skincare and also new to posting here, so sorry if I’m not exactly following the format properly 😅

I’m asking this not just for me, but I feel like a lot of beginners have the same confusion, so hoping this helps others too.)

—————————————————————————————————

Skin Type: Normal (not dry, not oily)

But my skin gets small pimples/bumps easily when exposed to oil/sweat/dust (like outside environment)

Weather: Kerala (HOT + HUMID 💀)

So sweating is a daily thing

Budget: Student here 🥲 not super cheap, but can’t afford high-end expensive sunscreens either. Looking for good value options.

NB:

I really hate even a slight oily or greasy feel on my face. It irritates me a lot. I want a sunscreen that sets properly and feels like nothing is there.

That’s why I picked the Derma Co Ultra Matte—it actually gives that invisible feel really well.

But now I’m thinking maybe I chose the wrong type for my skin since I noticed itching and bumps.

—————————————————————————————————

What I tried:

Derma Co Ultra Matte Sunscreen

→ Day 1: felt okay

→ Day 2: slight itching + tiny bumps (but I was also exposed to dust + sweating a lot)

→ Next day: bumps disappeared

So now I’m confused:

was it the sunscreen?

or just dust + sweat reaction?

My problem:

• I’m NOT used to skincare at all

• I don’t like that “something sitting on face” feeling

• Scared of clogging pores

• heavy / oily / greasy sunscreens are a big no

What I’m looking for:

Face sunscreen → lightweight, non-sticky, non-oily, won’t cause bumps

Body sunscreen → affordable + easy daily use + good if it also moisturizes (like 2-in-1)

hehe Idk if I'm asking too much🙃

———————————————————————————————————

I know the “best” sunscreens are expensive, but I honestly can’t afford that right now. Just need something good enough that works in humid weather.

If you have similar skin (normal but easily clogged/reactive), pls suggest what worked for you 🙏

Also how do you guys tell if:

👉 sunscreen is not suiting you

vs

👉 just skin adjusting / environmental reaction?

Thanks :)
