Hi guys

I had these tiny little bumps on my left face cheek, pretty harmless but kinda a lot ,around February. At the end of March, these bumps later developed into acne and finding myself in a helpless situation, I consulted a dermatologist around April. She recommended a deriva cms gel adapalene microspheres plus clindamycin phosphate gel to apply on the acne. I was told to apply at night every day for four weeks. It’s been about 9 days since I have been applying it , dried out most of the acne. My concern is whether this gel would help to clear out the redness of the post acne marks or do I need to like buy another product to clear out the scars?

I just finish my third bottle of it and it’s the BEST sunscreen!

I’ve just finished this skin aqua super moisture UV ESSENCE, and I would say this is the BEST sunscreen I’ve ever had. It’s lightweight, melts into the skin with zero whitecast. The newly formulated version is fluid-like and provides a broader spectrum UV protection. Their gel one is my HG as well, but sometimes it would make my skin too shiny when the temp is high. This one still gives me an acceptable shine, so overall I love it better. But I think I would use their gel version in Summer because of the lightweight texture(I just love it!) I’m an acne-prone skin and the essence one doesn’t cause any breakouts. Sec pic is my oiliness level. I think if you have the same oiliness as me or a more oily skin, you can try it. It costs me 1606 rupees.

Blynds pro spf 80 sunscreen

Has anyone tried this pharmacy sunscreen, If yes please help with these doubts?

  1. Does it protect from tanning and how is the texture ?

  2. Does it give white cast and is it suitable under makeup?

I keep buying products and then going back to basics

every few weeks I convince myself I need a better routine

buy something new

read ingredients

watch videos

then after a few days I get tired and go back to

face wash

one serum

sunscreen

right now it’s a Derma Co serum and whatever sunscreen is lying around

and weirdly those are the only days my skin feels normal

Episoft SPF 50 (NO THANKS!)

Disclaimer: upcoming rant. I am not a hateful person in general :), but this product truly enraged me:(

I love the Episoft AC moisturiser with micro encapsulated spf 30. Have used multiple tubes of that. So when this spf 50 version was launched, I was elated and decided to buy it. It is the price of the bigger version of the moisturiser with much less amount of product. Therefore, significantly expensive. And oh my God, I hate this sunscreen so much. This is by for the worst sunscreen that I have put on my face. I don’t have words for how can a product like this be passed through screening.

I would like to list down my problems with it.

  1. The very first thing that I noticed upon application was the horrific smell. The original Episoft moisturiser has no fragrance, which makes it perfect for all kinds of skin. But this sunscreen smells like an entire chemistry lab. The smell is repulsive and almost like a medicine shop. Straight up smells like chemicals which should not belong in my skincare bag, but a chemical factory. Even the people around me could smell it off of me.

  2. It is nothing like the original episoft AC moisturiser. In fact it feels more like a silicone based primer despite giving no benefits of a primer either. It has tiny white granules which turn it into a silicony mess that suffocates my skin. It doesn’t get absorbed but sits on top of my skin like a layer of solidified oil. Nightmare for the summer.

  3. I tried to set it with compact powder to reduce the oiliness and make it work, but as soon as it came in contact with powder, it pilled so bad and tuned into powdery beads itself. Great! Now I can’t even set it with powder.

  4. Crazy high price for an absolute smelly, greasy garbage cream.

(Sorry episoft! I love your AC moisturiser.)

But this product just didn’t do it for me. Can’t even tolerate it on my arms because of the smell and grease. Money down the drain. Idk what to do with it now. I request the episoft team to just make the original AC formula into an spf 50 version too!

That moisturiser is pure gold while this sunscreen is absolutely criminal ew!

Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Bioderma Atoderm

So recently purchased this moisturiser and realised that only a tiny amount is enough for the skin even though I have dry to combination + acne prone skin.

But it makes my skin look dull and darker, it also leaves a shiny, kind of greasy layer on my skin.

So, is there any correct way to apply this moisturiser?

Dot and Key moisturizer review

Hey guys I've been using this moisturizer since two months. I completed a tube and repurchased it so here's my honest review. I was initially sceptical about buying this because I do not trust dot and key products. I have a mixed feeling about the brand. My skin barrier was damaged, whatever products I put it used to burn in cheek area. After started using this and I saw very much improvement in my redness and burning reduced a lot. I think it's really great moisturizer. It's not greasy, no fragrance. It's doesn't give super dewy hydration for long hours. But it feels nice on face. My skin type is dry on cheeks and other areas but oily on nose. Initially it didn't break me out of anything. Recently I got few pimples only on my oily areas but I'm not sure if it's because of the moisturizer not using oily area or any other reason. Usually it doesn't happen so I can not blame. Overall I think it's 8/10. A decent one for dry skin and damaged barrier. I'm not quite sure how this works on oily acne prone skin. Let me know your reviews on this.

Wishcare Scam alert!!!

This is my first time getting scammed like this. I bought the WishCare hair serum from Nykaa. After 5 days, I wasn’t able to use it properly because I assumed the nozzle wasn’t working. After about 15 days (as I had gone home), I tried using it again and, with the help of a pin, I checked inside and was shocked to find it completely empty. Initially, when I applied it, only a very small amount of serum came out just a few drops but I thought it might be a strong formula and that’s why only a little was being dispensed.😭😭😭😭 Please check your bottles also

IS Clinsol gel good for tanning and hyperpigmentation?

I came across Clinsol gel (clindamycin + niacinamide) and I’m a bit confused about its actual use.

From what I understand, clindamycin is an antibiotic mainly for acne, while niacinamide can help with oil control and mild pigmentation.

So I wanted to ask:

  • Can this gel help with tanning or hyperpigmentation at all?
  • Or is it strictly for active acne treatment?
  • If it does help pigmentation, is it even worth using compared to proper actives like alpha arbutin, kojic acid, etc.?
  • Also, is it safe to use without a prescription?

For context: I have slightly oily (T-zone) skin and dealing more with tanning + uneven tone than acne right now.

I am soo close to just give up on everything!! PLS HELP MEEE 🙏🙏🙏

I’m seriously exhausted at this point. I’ve been dealing with closed comedones for so long and nothing seems to work properly.

It’s like my skin just stays textured no matter what I do. Tiny bumps all over, especially on my forehead, cheeks, and chin, and they just sit there forever.

I’ve tried being patient, tried “simple routines,” tried actives, tried cutting products out, tried salicylic acid, tried tret, tried adapelene tried adding products in and what not and somehow it either does nothing or makes things worse.

I’m honestly tired of spending money, time, and mental energy on this.

If anyone here has actually beaten persistent closed comedones Or anyone has any advice which can help me or any doctors or skin consustants, what genuinely works

Now I will be patient Pls tell me products, any tips, or how much time should I expect this thing clearing up

Plss help 😭🙏🙏

Hey guys. I have this dark pigmentation on my mouth area. And due to this dark lines are formed looking like nasolabial lines but my skin is super smooth no folds and nothing like that. What can I do to make ts go away. I need results in 3 months 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I have a acne prone sensitive skin, is there any replacement of this sunscreen?

actually the thing is,

I'm a boy so I don't have time to apply sunscreen and wait for 20 min for its blending,

i love silicon base sunscreen. It absorbs very easily on our face.
