Does it look normal?
I am sorry, that I am posting this but I went through the guide and I am still not sure. This is my first ever try at kombucha and I am thrown off by the colour at the top, I just wanted to get the opinion of someone with more experience.
It is this weird dark colour but it is not fuzzy or anything at all, the surface feels like the rest of the scoby. The also is some sediment at the bottom. The smell is quite acidic, no trace of what mold on food for example smells like.
