Quite a difference 3 years and a better sculpt makes. And not taking 3 attempts to get a shield that's been made correctly.
Here's my take on Captain Centos. I tried to do the tabard (and used the same colours for the cloak) as the new Armageddon promo image. Don't think I'm too far off with Gal Vorbak Red and Word Bearers Red, maybe some Doombull in the mix somewhere?
Still, not bad for a quick job.
Just noticed in the Armageddon promo image, that the gauntlet cuffs are painted Crimson. Checking back through my Warhammer World Museum photos, this has been the case for the firstborn too. It's even in the Index Astartes Crimson Fists paint guide.

This is my 3rd generation of WGT's! Or is it 3.5 as I've done some with the Forge World upgrades?
Either way, not bad to paint tbh. And some spare heads for some Heavy Intercessors which is nice.
