I use this service from time to time but have no idea how to come up with a tip that I think the driver will appreciate but also without needlessly overspending (yes yes I know I can't overspend on a tip but I'm not Jeff Bezos alright)

I know this question has been asked before but so many answers seem convoluted or vague. I'm just looking for like a simple rule of thumb.

My guess is always like a base amount + like x dollars per mile or something? And extra if the building to be delivered to requires stairs or elevator?

Looking for simple formulas or rules of thumb that you guys think is fair
