I have a Bernina Record 830 that was given to me by a friend’s aunt and I’ve been using her non-stop for twelve years. The motor brushes just wore away completely so I’m looking to replace those and I assume for now that’ll be enough, but on opening the case to check said brushes my friend and I noticed that it looked like the motor wires were a bit janky (not exposed or broken, just folded odd), and this clearly isn’t the motor nor motor case the machine came with
I’m wondering if current machine repair stores would be able to replace the motor if that was a thing she needed in the future? I desperately want to keep using her for as long as possible and admittedly worry about this more than I probably should
Thanks for your time!
