Buying a Desktop in 2026 worth it?
Hi everyone. As for now I have a desktop I built back in 2019. I was low on money and built it for 300€, I was and still am, proud of how I could do it.
It was a:
- Ryzen 3 1200
- GTX 1070
- 8gb ram 2666mhz
- 1T HDD
- MSI a320m -a pro
- nox lite 010 with 500w PSU pre-installed
For the last 3 years the desktop has been giving me lots of problems, lots of BSODs to the point of having to reinstall everything more than 20x. It's impossible to use it.
So the question is, is it worth buying a Desktop now?

This build is about 1900€.
Idk if I should just buy it, or make the sacrifice and wait more for the next gen.
