Notifications on Android persistently return after swiping away

My primary device is a Samsung Galaxy S22 running Android 16 with One UI 8.0 but I also run Thunderbird on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 running Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1.

On both platforms, when I swipe away the cluster of new mail notifications, they return as individual notification entries. Even when I swipe away each individual one, a few come back instantaneously, although sometimes in a different position in the notifications list, presumably based on date/time.

It's very frustrating and I am tempted to disable new mail notifications in Thunderbird altogether, although this would be an undesirable workaround.

No other e-mail system (e.g. GMail, Samsung Mail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail) does this.

In Samsung Wallet, each time I turn Sync with Samsung Cloud on, when I next go into Account and Syncing, Sync with Samsung Cloud has switched off.

I am also having a similar issue with Biometric verification for Samsung account, although this is more intermittent.

I was away over Christmas and New Year visiting family and, when I returned home, I needed to do a catch-up shop. It is unusual for me to have to sign in to the Scan&Go app, as it usually stays logged in, so I entered my e-mail address and password but the app repeatedly returned me to the Register / Login screen with no error message. When I got home, I was able to sign in successfully on my tablet, so it seemed not to be a problem with my account.

After a few frustrating weeks and having uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I reported it to CS via Facebook Messenger but several ‘agents’ kept asking the same inane questions and told me to try logging out, even though I'm not logged in, and to clear my browser cache and history, use a different browser, try private / incognito mode, take a screenshot of the error message, when there isn't one, and other illogical things unrelated to the Scan&Go app.

I have contacted them again today and gone through the same ridiculous scenarios, culminating in asking me which store I'm using and telling me to speak to the in-store staff as their dedicated team can't find anything wrong.

I have logged out on my tablet today and find that I can't sign in on it now either. 🙄

Has anyone else experienced problems with the Scan&Go app? This has been happening since about the 7th of January and was working perfectly normally before Christmas. It has been four months now without being able to use Scan&Go. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm trying to cast from my S22 phone (Android 16, One UI 8) to my S7 tablet (Android13, One UI 5.1.1).

Surely there is still a native Samsung or Google mechanism for this. 🤔

I know that Samsung withdrew Smart View from 2020, although the Smart View Quick Panel icon remained on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. However, I do not have the Quick Panel icon on my Samsung Galaxy S22, as Smart View had been withdrawn by the time of its release.
