This KSS 570 (?) PI (Position Indicator) is already getting abused. I wonder at the time if KONE Canada was unable to offer custom fixtures with KSS 140 PI which has a metal mesh.

GAL once offered a vandal resistant dot matrix indicator.
Today, I'm well aware of KONE offering such vandal resistant dot-matrix and LCD indicators in North America with their KSS 140. Dupar, they currently have a page for indicators and displays but requires checking out their global suppliers which includes Dewhurst which they offer two vandal resistant dot matrix display units (i.e. VRS52 - Dewhurst Global, VRS53 - Dewhurst Global) but not fully sure if they're compliant: Displays & Directional Indicators - Dupar
For other vandal resistant designs, I'm only aware of simple indicators (e.g. multi-lite_pi.jpg (653×89)) and LCDs (e.g. schindler-3300-3100-elevator-fixtures.pdf).
Elsewhere outside of North America, I'm aware of the following but unsure if they meet North American standards beside only ADA:

Can they be installed on North American elevators? Are there others I missed? What did I misunderstand?
