3 year old started acting out after dad came home from a trip.
Dad went to visit family out of the country for ten days. He got back Sunday. She didn’t cry for him or say she missed him the entire time he was gone. Her dad immediately started going back to work as he did before. Starting Tuesday my daughter started acting out like never before. Screaming at me, hitting, kicking, being extremely defiant and overall not following directions. We’ve never had problems with her being physical (aside from when she was around 1.5). She will be 4 this fall meaning school is coming up and I have zero idea how to navigate this continuous behavior. I’m very good about regulating my emotions while trying to help her figure out hers. But I’m being pushed past my limit. This is from the moment she wakes up until she falls asleep at night.
She has a little brother and I’m a sahm but since he’s so young he sleeps a lot more and I have lots of one on one time with her.
Any advice or words of encouragement🥲?
