Hello all,
I bought this Squier a few years back, but I've noticed recently that I'm getting significant fret buzz on the Low E and A strings further up the neck.
I had my buddy take a look at it, and it looks like from about the 7th to 12th fret on the low E string side, there's a pretty significant dip (bowing?). Like the fretboard sinks down.
I'm wondering what my options would be as far as repair. We've been tweaking the truss rod, filing down frets, and adjusting the bridge with varying degrees of success.
Seems like I have to choose if I want fret buzz when fretting closer to the nut or fret buzz when fretting closer to the pickups.
I'm thinking I just need to replace the whole neck unfortunately, but I'd like to get some outside input. Thanks for reading!!
I can post actual pictures of the neck if anyone is interested.
