I don’t want to be that guys and I always roll my eyes when I hear anyone saying the judge or whatever wasn’t fair to them.
Divorced two years ago and we have been to court many many times. And without getting too much into the details, the hearing officer has been acting like my ex lawyer.
My ex literally lie and the hearing officer says she believe her. Even when I brought many evidence from kids school and report from the school. She brushed it off.
My ex has been on blatant violation of many court orders. But the hearing officer keep coming up with excuses for my ex while my ex herself she is admitting to doing these things to block my relationship with the kids.
I sent child support late by two days due to problem with my salary, all outside of my will. The hearing officer held me in contempt.
Our vacation was delayed and returned the kids late because our flight was delayed and I didn’t want to spend an extra 1k and took the next day flight. The hearing officer held me in contempt because I could have spent 1k to get on time rather than wait for the next day flight. Totally unreasonable.
I objected to her ruling once to see the judge and the judge kind of wasn’t interested in hearing the issue and said he would keep the hearing officer recommandation.
Those are few examples of many, for my ex, she would come with every possible excuse and some of them were extremely ridiculous.
I am really stuck and I don’t know what are my options at this point.
