Hi everyone

So as the title says I'm intending to apply to college as a junior in high school. I have 7 schools picked out (UW-Madison, UC-Davis, UC-Santa Barbara, U of Washington Seattle, U of Oregon, U of Vermont, U of Maine). And I'll be all finished with my course work by the end of next year. I have my SAT and ACT scheduled for September and October respectively

My Guidance Counselor is advising me against it. My parents don't really care.

Is there any possible drawbacks to doing this or is there anything else I should know
