Transferred to a new store last month and I don’t like it so far. This store is so cliquey and the workers here are so immature. They pretty much act like high school friend groups. It makes it hard for me to enjoy work because it just feels like I’m left dealing with the worst tasks and ignored. I’m not trying to be their friend or anything and normally things like this don’t get to me. But the environment there is so bad that I genuinely dread going to work. The shifts and baristas are besties at this point so they get away with so much. But as soon as I do something “wrong” they are on top of me. Is it common for stores to be like this in small towns? I came from a very busy store in Dallas but now that I’m in a small town the vibes are so different.
