My 5 week old goes through cycles of grunting, wriggling, writhing, whining in his sleep.

Details: This only happens at night time. It doesn’t occur during day sleep.

He will be sleeping typically (still, eyes closed etc) then the craziness starts and lasts for 20 seconds or so, then back to still.

This repeats from about 2am to 7am.

He is EBF apart from one bottle at 1.30 ish.

This behaviour happens even if that bottle is breastmilk.

Is it a combination of active sleep and dyschezia?

Is it seizure?

Anyone had a similar experience?

I explained the above to GP who wasn’t concerned, but I didn’t have a video at the time. Now I do!
